In the meantime, let’s focus on one of the most common questions we receive — when is the best time to travel to Nepal?

What are the Best Months for Visiting Nepal?

Before we answer this question, it’s important to get a better understanding of Nepal’s climate over a year. Generally speaking, it’s a temperate country with four distinct seasons.

The winter months tend to be clear and stable. However, the temperatures become especially cold in some trekking areas around this time, particularly at night.

The weather warms up in spring, providing pleasant conditions for hitting the trails. Then there’s a build-up to the summer monsoon season from June to September. During this time, the heat becomes stiflingly hot and afternoon clouds bring heavy rain showers.

The resulting monsoons bring some relief, albeit with treacherous conditions. Temperatures ease and the vast amount of rainwater helps the countryside bloom.

When autumn rolls around, it brings a welcome return to clear, dry, and fresh weather.

These seasons all play their part in making Nepal one of the most beautiful countries in South Asia. Each has its unique charms that will appeal to visitors for various reasons.

However, given that most travellers come to Nepal to trek through the mountains and take in the spectacular views, the best time to travel to Nepal is usually between October and December.

Why Visit Nepal Between October and December?

Put simply, the typical weather conditions between October and December are a paradise for trekkers. Autumn in Nepal brings exceptional clarity. With clear, crisp blue skies, the mountain views are simply breathtaking.

And with steady, comfortable temperatures, you won’t have to worry about feeling too hot or too cold.

What About the Rest of the Year?

The October to December period may be the most popular time to travel to Nepal, but there’s still plenty to be said for the wonderful trekking conditions throughout the year.

First, it’s important to recognise that, as the most popular time to trek in Nepal, October to December is also the busiest season. The conditions are so tempting that people travel from all over the world to make the most of them.

With this in mind, mid-September is an excellent time to visit Nepal. It’s nestled nicely between the end of the monsoon season and the peak period starting in October. This means you can avoid the crowds while enjoying the great weather.

Mid- to late-May is another excellent time to travel to Nepal. The temperatures are well on their way to the summer highs, but not close enough to be unpleasantly hot.

The rhododendrons are in full bloom and the temperatures in Chitwan National Park average around 35°C. Of course, at higher altitudes, the temperature will be cooler than this.

Needless to say, December and January experience very cold temperatures. For example, the average temperature in Namche Bazaar is around 6°C at this time of year.

Winter brings clear skies, quiet trails, and jaw-dropping vistas, but high-altitude trekking is not recommended.

When Should I Not Travel to Nepal?

The only time of year when we don’t advise travelling to Nepal is during the summer monsoon season.

Between June and the end of August, the clouds obscure the majestic mountain views. This alone removes the highlight of any trekking adventure in the country!

In addition, the heavy rain makes travelling anywhere unpleasant, and the resulting landslides only pile on more difficulty, not to mention danger.

During the summer monsoon season, many places in Nepal shut, especially those catering to tourists.

And Don’t Forget Nepal’s Festivals!

Given the nature of trekking holidays, it makes perfect sense to focus on the weather conditions. But remember to let cultural factors influence your decision too.

Nepal has a variety of exciting events and festivals throughout the year, so consider aligning your trip with one of these amazing celebrations.

When Does Novoto Provide Group Tours in Nepal?

At Novoto, we have carefully crafted a schedule for Nepal group tours running through the year.

Of course, we don’t travel during the summer monsoon season in June and August.

Either side of this, we offer multiple dates for trekking holidays in Nepal throughout the spring and autumn. We then take a short break in December and January to avoid the year’s coldest temperatures.

It possesses an array of dramatic natural landscapes, from mountain ranges to rainforests. Simply, it offers travellers a nearly endless choice of unforgettable experiences.

Want to spend tranquil days reclining on pristine beaches? Or maybe grabbing a surfboard and riding the waves is more your style? How does hopping on and off trains as you explore a country unlike any you’ve seen before, whale watching, or hiking up majestic mist-covered hillsides sound? Sri Lanka has it all and more. This is a nation for the intrepid and the curious. For those whose wanderlust demands a destination that genuinely spells adventure!

Join us for our guide to this dream backpackers’ destination, and while you’re with us, please be sure to check out our range of Sri Lanka group tours.

When is the Best Time to Visit Sri Lanka?

Despite Sri Lanka being a small country, it is home to various weather conditions depending on the time of year and where you are on the island.

Due to the higher altitude, the Hill Country is where you’ll find the coldest conditions, with an average temperature of 16°C. In coastal areas, the temperature generally remains around 25°C.

The country’s high tourist season runs from December to April, when temperatures are at their best in the south and west of the country. This is the best time of year to visit Sri Lanka if spending plenty of time on the beach is part of your itinerary. On the other hand, if you’re travelling to the east coast, we recommend travelling between May and October.

Wildlife enthusiasts will be pleased to know that wildlife-spotting activities can be arranged throughout the year. However, the best time to see animals such as leopards and elephants is between December and April when conditions are at their driest.

What should you pack for your trip to Sri Lanka?

We often get this question, so let’s go through an ideal packing list for backpacking in Sri Lanka…

  • Large, durable backpack for your extensive journeys
  • A day bag: light and preferably waterproof
  • Shoes: a pair of comfortable trainers for general use and a good pair of walking boots for when you undertake hikes and nature walks
  • A lightweight rain jacket
  • An international adapter and all your must-have chargers for your phone, camera, etc.
  • Flip flops for the beach
  • Sun lotion – it’s expensive and hard to find in local shops in Sri Lanka
  • Insect repellent
  • A quality camera
  • A sarong or large, light scarf for an array of functions: blanket, shawl, or covering for changing at the beach or visiting holy sites
  • Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing for hot and humid conditions
  • Some warmers layers, such as hoodies, for cooler temperatures in the evenings
  • A dedicated money belt or travel wallet for keeping money safe
  • Your passport (top tip: make copies of your documents and store them separately in case disaster were to strike and you lost something)

How to Get Around Sri Lanka

Given the relatively small size of Sri Lanka, you shouldn’t run into any major obstacles when trying to get around. Bus services cover the country’s major tourist attractions and transport within the cities, and a good rail network covers the entire island. If you want to try a unique way of travelling, you may want to consider renting a tuk-tuk – these small, motorised rickshaws are easy to drive, inexpensive, and make for a memorable journey.

Finding bus times online can be a pain, but we recommend scouting out your options in the destination. Just ask the staff at your hostel or hotel, and they’ll surely be able to give you an idea of the bus routes suitable for you. In Sri Lanka, you generally won’t need bus or train tickets in advance.

As mentioned above, the train network serving Sri Lanka is good, and you’ll find it affordable. We always recommend travellers take trains across the country as it allows you to enjoy the amazing scenery. Just note: particularly scenic rail journeys (such as that between Kandy and Ella) might fill up, so do get these tickets in advance.

Finally, depending on your location, you can use services such as PickMe and Uber in Sri Lanka. This is generally good value and ideal for travel within urban areas. Standard taxis are also an option and usually not too expensive (just get a quote if taking a longer journey).

Of course, if you join Novato for our Sri Lanka Uncovered: Wildlife, Serenity & Culture tour, all your travel needs will be taken care of.

Is Sri Lanka Expensive?

Like most destinations with a healthy tourist industry, Sri Lanka offers experiences for those on a range of budgets, from luxury hotels and fine dining to wallet-friendly hostels and street food.

Backpackers will be pleased to hear that they can get by on less than 40 GBP per day (about 45 US dollars) if they plan things and stay disciplined.

Journeys by bus or train will typically cost no more than a couple of pounds. Eating out can be enjoyed for a similarly low price, though you will encounter higher costs if you pick establishes aimed exclusively at tourists.

You will not find the same drinking in Sri Lanka as in the UK or USA, so expect to pay more for alcohol. 70% of Sri Lankans are Buddhists, while 12% are Hindu and 7% are Muslim – be mindful of this when consuming alcohol. You won’t get deals on alcohol and can expect prices similar to those in Western Europe.

Some Must-See Sites in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a treasure house packed with things to see and do. The biggest challenge you’ll have as a backpacker is deciding what amazing things to include on your itinerary. Below are a few highlights to get you started!

Ella’s Nine Arch Bridge

The rail journeys to and from the small town of Ella are epic! In this part of the country, you’ll get to enjoy Instagrammable landscapes filled with forest and tea plantations. But there’s no view more scenic than that of Ella’s Nine Arch Bridge. Organise private transport from Ella early in the morning to get the best shots of this wonderfully cinematic bridge.

Go on Safari

Sri Lanka is jam-packed with wildlife, so you’ll have no shortage of opportunities to get up close to marvellous animals. Safaris are dotted around the country, so you may want to make your choice depending on your planned travel routes.

The following national parks are some of the main parks that have safari experiences: Yala National Park, Wasgamuwa National Park, Udawalawe National Park, Kaudulla National Park, Bundala National Park, Minneriya National Park, Gal Oya National Park.

With our 12-Day Sri Lanka Uncovered trip, you can enjoy an unforgettable elephant walk experience.

Sigiriya

One of Sri Lanka’s most recognisable symbols, the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya, is found in the country’s Central Region. Meaning Lion Rock, Sigiriya is 180 m tall and has been a site of importance since the 5th century.

Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, welcoming around 1 million visitors each year. Visit Sigiriya to capture breathtaking photos, see the ancient frescoes and rock carvings, and enjoy panoramic views of the pristine surrounding landscapes.

Beaches

Whether you want secluded beaches for sunbathing or beaches offering great waves for surfing, Sri Lanka has it all. This island nation has as much diversity in its beaches as you’re ever likely to find!

Bentota, Mirissa and Tangalle are among Sri Lanka’s most famous beaches, and we recommend Hikkaduwa for snorkelling.

Visit Extraordinary Waterfalls

Those who love taking pictures should keep their eyes peeled for waterfalls in Sri Lanka – your snaps will surely leave your Instagram followers green with envy!

Some suggestions for your research: Baker’s Falls, Laxapana, Ravana Falls, Bopath Ella, Bambarakanda Falls, and St. Clairs Waterfall.

There you have it…we hope you’ve found this guide helpful for your dream trip to Sri Lanka.

And while you’re here, please check out our selection of Escorted Group Travel Options in South Asia.

Hampi

The ancient ruins of the fortified Hindu city of Hampi rank among India’s most breathtaking sights. This UNESCO World Heritage Site in the south Indian state of Karnataka once served as the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, one of India’s largest kingdoms.

Coming to prominence in the 14th century, by the start of the 16th century, Hampi was the second-largest medieval city in the world after Beijing. The city was, though, conquered, pillaged and destroyed by a coalition of Muslim sultanates in 1565.

Today, you see the remnants of this once vast and powerful city. The archaeological site covers 16 sq mi and features over 1,600 remain, including royal and sacred complexes, temples, and shrines.
This is a true bucket list destination!

If you would like to explore this fascinating place in the company of expert local guides, consider joining Novoto on our South India Group Tour.

Goa

The state of Goa extends along 130 km of coastline and features some of India’s most beautiful coastal scenery. Featuring palm trees, crystal waters, and pristine sandy beaches, Goa has a lot to recommend it. This is part of your trip to kick back on the beach and forget about modern urban life.

Work? Studies? Forget about the pressure and commitments of home – you’re backpacking in a veritable paradise now! Find inner harmony at the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can encounter leopards, elephants, and countless species of brightly coloured birds.

Cultural activities more your thing? Visit the extraordinary Basilica of Bom Jesus, a 400-year-old church which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier.

Alternatively, explore Goa’s many flea markets to get a feel of local life. The Saturday Night Market at Arpora is our personal favourite. Buy some gifts, grab some street food and grab a drink with new friends.

Looking for the best beach in Goa? It’s a question we get a lot. Check out Anjuna Beach (pictured above) – Instagrammable and perfect for swimming.

We visit Goa on our Northern Discovery Tour of India.

Pondicherry

Popularly referred to as the “French capital of India”, Pondicherry is a coastal city that boasts a wondrous blend of colonial catholic and Hindu architecture.

As with Goa, you’ll be able to mix time spent in nature with time spent exploring cultural and historical sites. Regarding the latter, visit the Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and Eglise de Notre Dame des Anges cathedral.

For beaches, Paradise Beach, Auroville Beach, Serenity Beach, Karaikal Beach, and Veerampattinam Beach are all excellent choices.

But our favourite thing about Pondicherry? The out-of-this-world cuisine! Pondicherry’s cuisine is a unique combination of Tamil and French influences. You can enjoy French classics like croissants or ratatouille with one meal and south Indian delicacies such as masala dosa or sambar with another.

Pondicherry is one of our favourite stops on our Group Tour of Southern Indian.

Alleppey

Alleppey (also known as Alappuzha), located on the Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala, is nicknamed the Venice of the East for its expansive backwaters and networks of canals. The landscapes of this region are truly unique, with the plam tree-lined canals being especially beautiful.

Boat rides and houseboat cruises are some of the most popular travel experiences for visitors. Enjoy restorative, contemplative hours on the gentle water of the canals – this scenery is the stuff a backpacker’s dreams are made of.

Alleppey Beach should also be on your itinerary. This pristine beach is famed for the many festivals organised there, and features an old lighthouse that’s a perfect subject for Instagram photos!

Finally, don’t miss out the seafood curries in Alleppey! Keralan cuisine is famed for its complex, zesty flavours and there’s nothing better than tucking in to a delicious fish curry with a sea view in front of you.

New Delhi

The political capital of India, New Delhi offers travellers a wealth of experiences. What we admire best about time in the city is the rewarding mix of heritage and modernity. In New Delhi you can visit ancient Indian ruins and colonial buildings from the time of British rule. Still, you’ll also find innovative modern restaurants, hip neighbourhoods, and bustling shopping districts.

Culture vultures will not want to miss historical sites, such as Humayun’s Tomb, the Red Fort, and the medieval streets of Old Delhi.

When you work up an appetite from all the sightseeing, take a deep dive into the city’s amazing street food.

Pushkar

A town famous for attracting travellers who are on a spiritual quest, Pushkar is a laid back town that’s well-suited for backpackers.

Pushkar is a pilgrimage site for Sikhs and Hindus (the only place on the planet with a temple dedicated to Brahma). It is covered with temples and possesses a uniquely atmospheric vibe.

Our India Encompassed Group Tour spends time in Pushkar, during which we get to enjoy the city’s vibrant markets.

Jaipur

Our final recommendation is the city of Jaipur. The largest city in the state of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is known as the Pink City due to the colour of its sandstone buildings. Forming part of the west Golden Triangle tourist circuit (along with Delhi and Agra), Jaipur holds UNESCO World Heritage Site status.

Head to the Bapu and Johari Bazaars when exploring the city to experience a world of colour and soak out the local vibes. Then take a trek up to the 18th-century Nahargarh Fort, where you’ll enjoy fantastic views over the Pink City – perfection!

This ends our selection of some backpacking destinations in India. If you have any questions about any of the places we’ve covered or want to learn more about our tours in South Asia, send us an email via the Novoto website.

Which is the Most Beautiful Country in South Asia?

Many aspects come together to make a country beautiful. Of course, it’s stunning scenery and incredible vistas. But it’s also in the history and culture, the people and their hospitality. All things considered, South Asia is a region rich in beautiful countries.

Naturally, ranking countries by any concept of beauty is entirely subjective. Just like us, every person will have their own opinions and ideas, all of which are equally valid.

Best of all, there’s plenty of time for this list to become even longer in the future!

In this blog, we just want to highlight a handful of countries that have touched us with their beauty during our experience providing group travel in South Asia.

If you would like more information about Novoto, group travel packages, or overseas volunteering in India, please book a call with a member of our team.

Sri Lanka: A Small Tropical Paradise Bursting with Beauty

Sri Lanka may look on the small side when compared to its larger neighbours, but don’t be fooled into thinking there’s any less to see and do here. This incredible country is absolutely packed with beautiful views and seemingly endless activities.

What more would you expect from the Pearl of the Indian Ocean?

In fact, Sri Lanka has such a diverse range of landscapes that there truly is something for everyone here.

It’s impossible for us to encapsulate in a few words what Sri Lanka has in store for visitors, but some of the highlights include:

Unawatuna – A town in south Sri Lanka known for coral reef, stunning beaches, leaning palm trees, sea turtles, nearby jungle, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda.

Wilpattu National Park – Sri Lanka’s oldest and largest national park is home to many species, including leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and crocodiles.

Sigiriya – Also known as Lion Rock, this ancient rock fortress, complete with ancient ruins, rises majestically above jungle hills, gardens, ponds, and frescoes.

Kandy to Ella Train – From thick, lush green tea fields to misty mountains, this train ride is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, let alone Sri Lanka.

Wildlife sanctuaries, pristine beaches, exceptional surfing, world-famous cuisine: the list of reasons to visit Sri Lanka goes on and on.

As specialists in regenerative travel, Novoto provides unforgettable tours in Sri Lanka that showcase all the beauty this country has to offer.

Nepal: Hospitality, Hiking, History, and So Much More

Where Sri Lanka stuns with luscious tropical landscapes, Nepal owes much of its beauty to the Himalayan Mountain range. In short, these mountains sweep right through the country creating breathtaking views and a natural playground for hikers and mountain climbers.

That’s not to say that Nepal lacks greenery in its scenery. Chitwan National Park is an incredible place to take in Nepal’s wide-ranging flora and fauna. The park is packed with wildlife. Just a handful of the animals you can find here include Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and rhinos.

Even Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, is a cultural, historical, and architectural wonder in its own right. The city has more than seven World Heritage Sites!

But among Nepal’s seemingly endless treasures, it’s the incredible hiking and mountaineering opportunities that draw most visitors here. That’s hardly surprising considering ten of the world’s 14 highest mountains lie within this small country!

With some paths only accessible by foot, the views on display are beyond spectacular. The size, scale, and beauty of it all can genuinely alter your outlook on life.

When you throw in the kindness and hospitality of the Nepalese people, their diverse cultures, and the country’s fascinating history, booking tours in Nepal is a decision you will never regret.

India: A Country of Endless Diversity, Beauty, and Wonder

How do you sum up the beauty of a country as large and diverse as India? Any sweeping statement that tries to do this incredible country justice will always fall short. The only way to experience the beauty of India is to explore it in person.

At Novoto, we know India inside out. We have poured this knowledge into crafting tours of India that last between 15 and 30 days. This is the minimal amount of time needed to see and experience as much of the real India as possible in a single visit.

Of equal importance, it’s enough time to give back to the communities your journey passes through too.

Any worthwhile adventure in India combines the most popular attractions with locations off the beaten track, such as:

  • The majestic Taj Mahal
  • Mumbai’s Manhattan
  • The golden beaches of Marari
  • The incredible ancient village of Hampi
  • Idyllic beach living in Goa
  • France’s legacy in Pondicherry

Let’s Discuss 10 Essential Backpacking Items to have that perfect trip!

1. Backpacking Tent

If you are up for hiking or trekking, then you must carry a backpacking tent. You may not always get hotels or lodging facilities in off-bit locations in hilly regions. Having a tent will be beneficial in such situations. When you carry a tent, you can set it anywhere and relax. However, you must learn to put a tent in the middle of woods and rocks. Before checking the backpacking checklists, you can watch videos or tutorial blogs to understand the steps of tent management without added help. But honestly, you’ll become a pro in a few tries, mate.

2. Dry Food

Do not forget to include dry food in your backpacking checklists. You won’t get shops or restaurants in the odd tourist locations. If you don’t carry dry food, you won’t be able to eat anything. You can have other cooked edibles, but the food won’t last for a long time at the average temperature. So, don’t forget to carry dry food items like nuts, seeds, fruits, energy bars, ready-made tuna salad pouches, nut butter packs, instant noodles, etc.

3. Water Bottles

Water bottles are a must when you are out for a trip. Drinking impure water can cause diarrhea, typhoid, cholera, and others. Furthermore, local water may not suit your tummy. For this reason, you must carry water bottles on the trip. You can buy sufficient sealed freshwater for immediate need and carry them along. However, if you plan to set a tent beside a flashy stream, you don’t need to buy water bottles as mountain rivers always offer pure drinking water.

4. Navigation System

When hiking or trekking, you can quickly lose direction if you are new to the trail. What if you lost your way in the woods? A navigation system can help you in such situations. You must carry a compass or mobile to detect the right direction in no time. Else, the navigation system will also help you to find your destination soon, eliminating all confusion. For this reason, a navigation system is one of the backpacking essentials that you must not forget to carry along.

5. Torch / Headlamp

Are you planning to stay for a couple of nights at the destination? Then a torch is a must item that you need to carry. In the dark, you can’t walk out for nature’s call without any light. On the other hand, you can also point out if any animal or reptile is approaching your tent. It is mentioned that you should also carry batteries to keep the devices alive.

6. First Aid Kit

A first aid kit is another essential item that you need to put while packing your bag. When you are on a trip, your health can collapse at any time. You can suffer from diarrhea, fever, coughing, sneezing, and others. Without proper medicine, you will be helpless, and you can’t expect to get a medical shop when you are hiking up the mountains. Hence you must include a first aid kit into your backpacking checklist.

7. Insect Repellent

Insects are everywhere. When exploring a new location, you must face various insects, especially if you plan to explore wildlife sanctuaries. You can apply insect repellent cream on your skin to keep the unwanted insect bites away. While staying in the woods, the insect repellent will help you eliminate the mosquitoes, ants, and other similar insects from your room.

8. Repair Kit

A repair kit is significant as it will help you repair your items in a midway. If you carry electronics goods such as mobiles, drones, navigation systems, and others, make sure you bring the repair kit. Else, you should also take thread and needles to weave the needful. Make sure you have items like a power bank, scissors, ropes, clips, and similar items in the kit.

9. Camera

Don’t you want to frame some exotic images throughout your jaunt? How about making videos of your entire trip in the lush greenery? You need to carry a camera in such cases. You can have a GoPro or a DSLR camera to click the beautiful natural beauty of the place you are exploring. Do not forget to carry your camera bag to keep the expensive bag safe and secured.

10. Backpacking Chair

The chair is one of the backpacking essentials that you can carry along. During your trip, you may not want to lie down or stand but sit at ease. For these reasons, you can bring a backpacking chair to have an excellent experience throughout the tour. However, make sure to pick a folding chair that is lightweight and easy to install.

These were some of our suggestions while getting your bag packed for your trip. Feel free to refer them into your packing to ensure all the essential items are checked off your list. Holy shit. Now the only thing remaining after this is getting your ass to the actual adventure!

What Are The Benefits Of Cultural Exchange?

Do you ever get this curiosity of exploring different cultures? Of trying out new traditions, festivals, rituals, and plenty of other things. Cultural exchange is one way of satisfying your curiosity. The importance of cultural exchange is when you accept the variations of diverse cultures, gain experience, in-depth knowledge, and witness a worldlier view. Do you know that employers like cultural awareness, adaptability, tolerance, and transversal skills? Else, if you are a student, you will significantly benefit from the cultural exchange as you visit a new country. Well then, what are you waiting for? Start planning your next cultural exchange trip and explore all the different scenarios in terms of locations, religion, food, people, and so much more.

Top 10 Advantages Of Cultural Exchange

1. Unity Among Diversity

Global exposure encourages cultural exchange on the international platform. Students are visiting foreign countries for higher studies and getting familiar with local pupils. The interaction, involvement, and formal acceptance speak of cultural exchange. The diverse experience enables you to reject stereotypes that cloud your decisions and judgments.

2. A Worldlier View

When someone asks, “what is a cultural exchange program” you can state that getting familiar with the worldlier view of various cultures and traditions is a cultural exchange in a nutshell. When you are part of cultural exchange, your enduring soul becomes open to new things, people, and other rituals. Such blending in culture provides ample opportunities that open your eyes to accept different viewpoints making you empathetic toward locals. Sometimes, cultural exchange opens your eyes even to your own religion.

3. Adaptability, Flexibility, And Confidence

When you start living in a new country, you will need to cope with the new lifestyle soon. Your new lifestyle will include traveling, independent living, managing academic chores, eating, and other things. These things sound so much fun! Don’t you want to hop on this fun and adventurous phase of your life?

4. Alternative Learning

When you visit a new country for a job or higher studies, you are exposed to alternative approaches to learning. Each country has unique ways to address the job seekers and students, and you will have to adapt to it. You can share this new learning experience with your fellow mates as you come back to your nation. In this way, the cultural exchange spreads fast-changing and adapting new features in a continuous process.

5. Personal Development

Do you know that cultural diversity causes personal development to a great extent? Yes, you read it right! Living in a new country on your own enhances your decision-making abilities, speaking power, confidence, intelligence, and experience. All these factors boost personal development to a higher level. When you live in a new country far away from the protective gaze of your family, you automatically become self-confident, and this is the contribution of cultural diversity. Not surprisingly, this point highlights the importance of cultural exchange in the best way.

6. Life-Long Bonds

Living in a new country lets you stay with local families and friends. You become familiar with their tradition and daily living, and from here, the cultural exchange program takes place. You start appreciating their rituals, religious ceremonies and value them with your presence. Such connections form ling-long bonds, turning you into a global citizen. You learn about their food habits, likes, and dislikes, which prepare you to become a foreign settler in the best way. While living in such proximity, you receive warmth and pure affection from the locals being an alien. Experience these cute and lifelong bonds with people who will make a difference in your life!

7. New Friends – New Circle

It is always wonderful to make new friends who can add different yet vibrant colors to your life.
